What Is the Mark of the Beast? tomorrowsworld.org

The Mark of the beast as described in the book of Revelation has been a subject of wild speculation.  This whiteboard video clearly lays out what it is and what it isn’t.  Within the context of scripture, the mark is not something physical. It is not a vaccine, tattoo, barcode, chip, or anything else that can be forced upon someone against their will. This mark on the hand and forehead indicates an individual’s will – actions  (mark on the hand) and beliefs (mark on the head). We are marked or identified by how we choose to live. Within the context of this mark, is the beast power that those with the mark will worship. This beast power is a system; a system or religion set up by a false prophet that will deceive most of the world. This will be an all-controlling, accepted by most, system that will allow those that adhere to it to function in day-to-day life and those that don’t will be persecuted. Those marked by the beast are those that choose to identify with this system that is opposed to God and His way, whereas those without the mark, that choose not to rebel against God will be identified by a different sign. This sign was created by God as a sign between Him and His people. (Ex 31:12-13, 15-17, Ezk. 20:19-20, Ezk. 20:20)  My Sabbaths you shall keep, for it is a sign between Me and you… Those who choose to follow God are identified by the seventh day Sabbath which was instituted by God from the beginning. Those that choose to follow the beast will worship on a day set up by man (Sunday) and this is the mark of the beast.
