How to Be Forgiven of Sin… tomorrowsworld.org

This video begins by showing sin is the source of this world’s unhappiness. The burdens (anxiety, regret, guilt, pain, and suffering) that we each carry due to sin, can become overwhelming but there is a solution. To remove this load requires us to come to terms with the cause…our sin. Like a mirror, God’s law reveals to us our sins. We must look into that mirror. Only after this humble introspection can we honestly ask God for forgiveness of them. This faithful request requires a true belief in the sacrifice (the blood payment for sin) of Jesus Christ that allows for the removal of that burden. Finally, repentance is required. Understanding that sin is the source of the misery in the world and in our life is not enough, we must endeavor to change, to not sin. If this represents a path you want to take, baptism should be considered. Baptism allows you to receive the Holy Spirit which is given to help us overcome sin and to allow Christ to live in us. It is not an easy process, but it is the only way to get out from under the weight of our sins.
