There are many articles that set out to answer “is the Bible true”? Being that there are many “proofs of the Bible” it seems interesting that many articles highlight and focus on what could be seen as opinions. This quick Q&A offers the proofs from a high level, leaving it to the reader to delve into each one. It begins: As an ancient text, the Bible is unique because of our ability to verify its accuracy when comparing old and new texts. This, alongside the consistency of scripture, can’t be said of the thousands of Babylonian, Egyptian, Greek and Roman writings. Along the same vein are the scientific and archaeological proofs of the Bible. For critics of the Bible there is an inexplicable harmony between them. On a philosophical level, there is a relevance to even our modern life. The active practice of these ancient principles results in a happier and more fulfilled life. Finally, the prophetic proofs are unmatched compared to other religious texts. Alongside archaeological findings proving the timing of said writings and the fulfillment of said prophecies in both the “when” and the “how”, the Bible stands alone in every way for those willing to see.
