China and Russia in Prophecy – Brian Orchard leadingtolife.org

China and Russia, two major geopolitical powers, are reshaping the global landscape, challenging the established world order. Amidst tensions with the United States and its allies, both nations are asserting their influence. Recent developments, including Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, highlight their strategic maneuvers. The Bible’s prophecy suggests a significant role for these nations in future events.

Ezekiel’s prophecy associates Magog, Meshech, and Tubal with modern-day Russia and China, indicating their involvement in future conflicts. Daniel’s prophecy foresees two end-time superpowers, the King of the South and the King of the North, embroiled in a Middle Eastern conflict. Revelation depicts a series of cataclysmic events involving these nations, culminating in Christ’s return.

During a period of intense warfare, Christ’s intervention redirects the focus of warring nations towards a common enemy—Himself. The forces of Russia, China, and others converge against Christ in a final showdown. However, Christ emerges victorious, bringing about a period of peace and prosperity.

Despite initial hostility, eventual recognition of Christ’s sovereignty leads to global unity and harmony. Ultimately, all nations will acknowledge the one true God and embrace His way of life, ushering in an era of lasting peace.
