Most people don’t understand the Gospel of Jesus Christ and living in accordance with it. There are many misconceptions and deviations from the true teachings and the Gospel of Jesus.

Jesus stated in John 5:43, He came in His Father’s name, that He was sent by God. There are challenges and troubles in the world and Jesus was sent to reveal God’s plan for His Kingdom, a message of world rule and a divine government that can bring peace and address this world’s problems. This is the Gospel of Jesus, the gospel of the Kingdom of God.

Right now humanity is openly defiant to God’s laws, leading to suffering and hardships. This is because true happiness and prosperity can only be achieved by following God’s ways as outlined in the Ten Commandments and the spiritual principles derived from them.

One element of the law that may be the most neglected would be the Sabbath. Yet in Mark 2, Jesus and His disciples are questioned about their actions on the Sabbath. Jesus defends their actions by explaining that the Sabbath was made for man’s benefit. The Sabbath was made for all people, which is why it is the capstone of creation week.

Now more than ever there is a need to embrace God’s ways, as His laws are intended to bring happiness and peace to mankind. This requires a teachable mind that is willing to surrender to God’s will. The God that desires true happiness for His children, made all things, and gave the Sabbath to ultimately be a blessing for all humanity.
